About the Wine

Qisi is a traditional white grape variety from Kakheti, known for its expressive fruit character, freshness and ability to produce structured wines. When made by the traditional qvevri method, Qisi can develop greater texture and depth, with distinctive ripe-fruit and dried-fruit notes.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of ripe pear, apricot and citrus, with subtle dried-fruit and herbal notes. On the palate, Qisi shows fresh acidity, a rounded texture and a long, dry finish with gentle complexity.

The 2022 Vintage

The 2025 Qisi reflects the character of the vintage and the traditional qvevri method. Contact with the grape skins gives the wine texture and depth while preserving the natural freshness and expressive fruit character of the Qisi variety. It is a dry, naturally made wine produced with minimal intervention.

Winemaking

The grapes are hand-harvested in Kakheti and fermented with native yeasts in traditional Georgian qvevri. Extended contact with the grape skins gives the wine additional texture, structure and depth. The wine is made with minimal intervention.

Food Pairing

Qisi pairs beautifully with Georgian cuisine, grilled fish, poultry, roasted vegetables, fresh salads, soft cheeses and lightly spiced dishes.
